Taalwandeling
During the Walking & Talking Taalwandeling, you learn Dutch while walking through Rotterdam.
What to expect
You walk through the city together and practise your Dutch along the way. There’s always a volunteer with you who can help if you don’t know a word or find a sentence difficult. Not a formal lesson, just a good conversation.
Entry level
It doesn’t matter whether you’ve lived in the Netherlands for years or have only just arrived – everyone is welcome. You do need to speak a little Dutch. That means you know some basic words, understand simple sentences and can have short conversations. Your Dutch should be at A1 level or higher. Do you speak Dutch well? Join us as a language volunteer.
