Can you read a painting, just like reading a book? Chae Eun Rhee made it possible. In her work We, In the Eye of the Wind - an artwork specifically made for Fenix -  you can ‘read’ the painting from left to right, just the way you can read a book. It follows the pattern of time.

I know that none of us can avoid time. We live in time. It’s everywhere but not easy to grasp.

— Chae Eun Rhee

In the video Chae Eun says that time, just like people, is a migrant too. In her painting, you can see how the days pass by and actually migrate through time. The painting is made from six panels. It takes you  on a journey – from sunset to sunrise, from winter to summer. Along the way, you follow migrating birds, meet a Korean migrant in Hawaii, and move from the influencer Lil Miquela to a Minecraft creeper. Each transition reveals migration as a timeless and universal phenomenon. The artwork shows us that migration is in fact timeless and present everywhere, whatever form it takes.
