Plan your visit

The Social City Walk brings people and language together. In small groups, you’ll walk through Rotterdam and have conversations with different people. Along the way, you’ll switch conversation partners, getting to know new fellow Rotterdammers at every turn.

Choose one of four starting points in Rotterdam:

  • Noord – TopTaal, Schiekade 830
  • Centrum – Centrale Bibliotheek, Hoogstraat 110
  • Zuid – Plein (Fenix), Dolf Henkesplein 1
  • West – Leeszaal Rotterdam West, Rijnhoutplein 3

The Social City Walk lasts two hours and covers about five kilometres. There’s a coffee break halfway through, and you’ll finish at the same location where you started.

The Social City Walk is for anyone who wants to improve their Dutch—and for Rotterdammers who want to help them do so. Whether you’ve lived here for years or just arrived: everyone is welcome.
